Surf (Instrumental)
This song reminds me of the Surfaris' "Storm Surf," though it's darker and chunkier. The double picked guitar is as relentless and the tone is really quite similar to Jim Fuller's. Cool track.

"Last Wave At Mavericks" is a slowish moody piece with an indistinct sound and bongos. It's far more about the ambiance of the surf than a surf song per say.

"Los Barrelles" is a slowish song with great damped-reverbed rhythm guitar and a distant lead playing a haunting melody line. A fine instro with an ominous edge and chunkiness.

A flamenco guitar launches this extra cool song. It's very dramatic, very inviting, and sultry without being trite at all. Exotic places and distant sadness prevail, amplified by the distant chorus. Entirely cool.

Big splash and ambient reverb wash over this beautifully haunting piece. The melody is enchanting and the overall sound spatial and eerie. "Nose Rider" is a fine instro with a very cool surf feel.

Grumbly and moody, with a thumping circular bass line, "Surfin' At Spanish Head" has a distant curl sound that's both inviting and dangerous. The recording is very indistinct, but the song cuts right through that.

Dark and spooky, "The Spider" wanders the panoramic spectrum with a haunted sound. Dangerous in a chilling way, with a very compelling sound. Psychodramatic, dark, and moody.
