artworkSadly, with so many great surfbands operating in the Midwest, many recorded at Kay Bank where this was, and some issued on Bangar like this, I was hoping that "The Monster" would be a ripper, but alas it just illustrates the cauldron in which surf evolved, and the disparate sounds that contrast the new and the old, as would happen as surf yielded to the British Invasion and American Garage.
