Surf (Instrumental)
"Spanish Dagger" is a lovely tune with a rich south of the border feeling. It's slightly moody, like a cloudy day, and very fluid. There are hints of other things you've heard, but only referentially. What a fine melody!
Surf (Instrumental)
This take on the Astronauts' "Surf Softly And Carry A Big Big Board" is very much in the vintage vein. It has captured the spirit of the period well, and it's a not too often covered song as well.
Surf (Instrumental)
This is a tastefully done cover of one of Los Straitjackets' less familiar tracks, and one of their more melodic as well. Much surfier than the original, it sports an infectious rhythm and grand reverb lead.
Surf (Instrumental)
This is quite a nice version of Bob Moore and Boudleaux Bryant's hit song. The arrangement is a lot like Dick Dale's nineties arrangement, but with a gentler more vintage sound. The dribbling reverbed double picking is very inviting.
