Phil Dirt - Reverb Central - PO Box 1609, Felton, CA 95018-1609 USA | Three surf-n-fuzz instros are interspersed with rockabilly tinged surf-garage vocals. While clearly a demo, the sound is not too bad, though the drums are ambient. Substantially interesting work born of a unique style. |
Picks: Perceverb From Mars, Mist, Durisimas Declaraciones

Garage Surf (Instrumental)
A heavy blend of fuzz and reverb riff rock with a garage edge. Heavy tone, aged with tremolo in the last verse, create a tuff environment for street level surf. The break is interesting as the drums come forward.
Garage Surf (Instrumental)
Muted reverb and a jammin' structure seem to work OK. The tremolo tremble of the break is very cool. The "Wipe Out" verse adds a touch of surf. Some interesting moments.
Garage Surf (Instrumental)
"Durisimas Declaraciones" features a heavy blend of fuzz and reverb in dueling guitars playing mostly the same riffs. Loud and garage aggro, with dark edges.
