Train To Hell
Faux Surfadelic (Instrumental)
There are some interesting elements here, and quite a bit of thinking put into the arrangement. It's dramatic in the soundtrack music sense, and might do OK in the mid-seventies prog arena. "Train To Hell" does have its dangerous mood, but it moves so slowly that you're likely not to care when you arrive.
Surf's Gone
Faux Surfadelic (Instrumental)
"Surf's Gone" would imply it was once here, but there's nothing about surf music here. Organ-like, machine drums, pompous long chords, and a workable melody that deserve a better airing. Moody and dramatic, but not particularly engaging after a half-minute or so.
Faux Surfadelic (Instrumental)
A nearly surf guitar tone plays a melody that is morphed from "The Green Flash" by The Concaves, but it's nowhere near as engaging. It almost as if that song was misdirected into the neverland of trance-prog.
