Track by Track Review

Star Trek dotdotdotdot
Surf (Instrumental)

The first half of "Star Trek" is the classic narrative from the television show transmuted to surf and Pollo Del Mar as the Enterprise! Very creative and cool. The song is all fun. Really good!

Pose of Awareness dotdotdotdotdot
Surf (Instrumental)

"Pose Of Awareness" is a superb piece of writing and drenched in stinging whammy and reverb. It moves fluidly between quiet muted and long sustain. The two guitars play off each other with drama and art. Amazing!

Viva La Vida dotdotdotdotdot
Surf (Instrumental)

This is a bit Spaghetti with an adventure sauce spiced with superb whammy! Big, dramatic, and very strong! many changes in texture and evolving style. "Viva La Vida" is a magnificent piece!

Sifaka dotdotdotdotdot
Surf (Instrumental)

The Pyronauts' "Sifaka" is reinvented to sparkle among Pollo Del Mar's strong repertoire. The muted lines and double picked assaults are very powerful. Chants of the title punctuate the latter part of the song, as does a chorus. This is big, sweeping, dramatic, and wonderful!

Surf Party dotdotdotdotdot
Surf (Instrumental)

Well now! This is big surfy, powerful, and downright fun! Pollo Del Mar make "Surf Party" seem as though they wrote it! Bobby Beverly and William Dunham wrote the song, which first surfaced from The Astronauts on the soundtrack to film of the same name.
