This solid version of "Sahara Drums" was recorded live at the Colne R&B Festival back in 2000. The song is a sweeping visual of mystery and space. The haunting keys and Angelo Santoro's signature guitar textures combine to create a large and panoramic aural journey. Quite a nice track!

Another live track from the Colne R&B Festival, "Surfing On The Nile" is dramatic and tribal, with great percussion and a semi-psychedelic swirl that hints of early Santana. It's a wondrous track with a lot of charm and primal energy.

"Exotic Guitars - Surfing On The Nile" was caught live at Festival Schiedam. It's a fifteen minute aural marvel that merges two very different songs. "Exotic Guitars" is the surfier of the two, with double picked lines and soaring guitar notes. It's not your father's surf, but it does portray the curl in desperate places where merely seeing another morning is a win. A+. "Surfing On The Nile" is more spatial and atmospheric, as has been noted above. All-in-all, quite a psych-surf workout!

This live take from source unknown is very nicely captured. The arrangement is the same as above, but it's more studio quality. Quite satisfying!

This superb version of "Surfing On The Nile" from a live performance at Radio West really captures the drama of the band and this piece of music. The grandeur of the epic imagery and the crispness of the audio give it a leg up on the other versions.
