The Biarritz Boys - MySpacedotdotdotdot
artworkThese four tracks are culled from the web. The Biarritz Boys are very reminiscent of The Treble Spankers, but garagier. Great writing, excellent playing, solid arrangements, and serious edge. While these are muddy demos, this must be a band to reckon with.

Track by Track Review

Golesh dotdotdotdot
Surf (Instrumental)

This is a straightforward rockin' cover of The Intrepides' "Golash." Lots of energy and fiery glissandos. Great rhythm, bass, and drums under speedy and very good lead guitar.

Sex Wax dotdotdotdot
Surf (Instrumental)

Weird panoramics with drums center, bass and rhythm left, and lead guitar right. The guitar lines here are somewhat reminiscent of The Treble Spankers. Ample spunk and mysterious flair, and a stompin' bridge.

Whatever Happened dotdotdotdot
Surf (Instrumental)

Whammy chords and mysterious melody lines, great drums, and reverb splash. "Whatever Happened" rocks and romps across some mighty dangerous waves on zigzag shortboards. Very cool.

Young Gun: Loose Cannon dotdotdotdot
Surf (Instrumental)

Dark chords, a largely ominous melody, and dribbling glissandos. "Young Gun: Loose Cannon" is slow and moody and dangerous. The imagery is lumbering and the threat serious.
