Track by Track Review

Axis of Evil dotdotdotdot
Surf (Instrumental)

Surf and twang ride above a relentless bed of writhing rhythm. "Axis of Evil" is an oddly attractive song that's not melodic really, but is nonetheless magnetic. Kinda spaghetti, open road adventurous, and very mysterious. It ends with a series if reverb crashes before the final chords.

Dead Sea Stroll dotdotdotdot
Surf (Instrumental)

This is a hauntingly cool song with an island mystique and warmth. An alluring whammy warmth calls to the soul in a carefree mode that's just a little sad. "Dead Sea Stroll" is not the Steve Soest song of the same name.

Beach Blanket Inferno dotdotdotdot
Surf (Instrumental)

With introductory chords inspired by "Moovin' and Groovin'," this song romps with optimism and energy. The uplifting melody line is playful and warm, and the island whammy suitably inviting. "Beach Blanket Inferno" is an excellent track.
